We are living in a time of division and confusion among churches—congregations fighting one another, ministers competing, and believers being pulled in different directions. But what is really going on? This is not just disagreement; it’s spiritual deception, and we must guard our hearts against it.

We went deep into Ezekiel 34, where God rebukes selfish shepherds and reveals His heart as the Good Shepherd who cares for the flock. We also looked at the responsibilities of both shepherds and sheep—how when either side fails, the whole body suffers.

But let’s go even deeper:

If Christ Is Your Lord…

If Christ is truly your Lord, then you must know this truth:
It is He who placed you under the ministry you are in right now.

If that place is no longer aligned with His will, then He alone has the right to lead you elsewhere—not offense, not gossip, not comparison.

Your primary relationship must always be with Jesus, not the shepherd you are assigned under. We must stop exalting men above Christ.

Jesus Is Still Concerned

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few…” (Matthew 9:38)

Jesus was deeply concerned about the lack of true laborers—and that same cry should break our hearts today.
This generation should not be the one where:

The Body is more connected than ever before through worldwide ministries…

Yet the power and fruitfulness of believers is decreasing.

Congregations are scattered, and the sheep are starving.

Sheep Will Be Sheep

Sheep are always going to look for green pastures. It’s their nature. They need feeding, leading, and protection.

When Jesus appeared, John the Baptist’s ministry began to fade, but John didn’t fight or complain. He simply said:

“A person can receive only what is given them from heaven.”
— John 3:27

What humility. What understanding of divine order!

Stop the Gossip & Division

Sheep: Stop gossiping about other flocks and criticizing shepherds who aren’t yours. You are not called to judge their pasture.

Shepherds: It is not your business to attack other shepherds or poison your pulpit by speaking against others.

The sheep and the shepherds belong to the Lord. He is the Owner. He is the Judge.

Stop using platforms to spread offense, jealousy, and division. Deal with the Lord of the harvest. Let Him correct, raise up, and remove—because He alone sees the heart.

If we truly want to see revival, healing, and harvest, we must return to the order of the Kingdom:

Shepherds who love and lay down their lives.

Sheep who honor, follow, and grow in maturity.

A Church that stops fighting itself—and starts fighting for souls.

Stop pushing people down and stop spreading anger. Return to the heart of the Good Shepherd.
